We are seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse to join our Pain Management Service at Pindara Private Hospital on the beautiful Gold Coast.
This is a permanent part-time role.
About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource across the scope of the Pain Management team in all facets of caring for patients whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. You will report to and work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure the department is safe, effective and follows best practice. You will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of health professionals.
This position also involves receiving referrals from Surgeons and Anaesthetists and attending to patients with special needs relating to post-operative pain.
About the You
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and meet the following criteria:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Nurse
- 3 years minimum Post Anaesthetic Care Unit experience
- Experience in a Pain Service position essential
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
