Registered Nurse - Surgical
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ward 2E which currently specialises in Urology, Gynaecology, Plastics, and Breast Surgery. This is a casual position and the successful applicant must be available to cover shifts across a 7-day rotating roster inclusive of night shift.
About the Role
Pindara Private Hospital is a modern 348 licensed acute care Hospital with extensive on-site facilities including a 24-hour Emergency Department, 22 Operating Theatres including our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Oncology, Maternity and Paediatric units.
Your key focus will see you supporting the evaluation, planning and delivery of care to patients who have are recovering from Urology, Gynaecology, Plastics, or Breast Surgery procedures.
In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work alongside a supportive team of nurses, medical professionals and clinical support staff.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with recent acute experience in a relevant specialty (Gynaecology/Urology/Breast). You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The flexibility to work across a rotating roster will be essential to this role.
You will also bring:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum 2 years relevant specialty experience in an acute surgical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work as a cohesive team member
On offer is a based hourly rate, based on qualifications and years of experience of;
- $34. - $45. per hour for Registered Nurses plus casual loading & Super
