Sleep Scientist

We are seeking a Sleep Scientist to join our team working across our Mitcham Private Hospital Sleep Centre and Albury Wodonga Private Hospital Sleep Centre on a casual basis (Day Shifts based in Mitcham Private Hospital)

About the Role

In this role you will be joining our cutting-edge Sleep Investigation team providing a high quality and efficient Sleep Service to all patients, reporting to the Sleep Centre Team Leader.

About You

To be successful for this opportunity, it is vital for you to possess high-level communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, as you will be working with a diverse range of patients.

You will bring experience working within a Sleep Study program or unit along with a strong attention to detail and a passion for client care. The ability to engage with and create strong working relationships with patients, their families, clinical and non-clinical staff is essential.  

Key Criteria:

• Previous experience within a sleep study unit or program
• Previous scoring and staging experience is essential
• BRPT RPSGT or CCSH qualifications will be highly regarded although are not essential.
• Experience with Compumedics ProFusion4 desirable
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
