We are seeking a Clinical Nurse to join Pindara Private Hospital working across our Acute Pain Service and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit in this Permanent Full Time opportunity.
About the Role
As our Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource working across the scope of our APS and PACU teams in all facets of caring for patients whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. You will report to and work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure the department is safe, effective and follows best practice. You will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of health professionals.
This position also involves receiving referrals from Surgeons and Anaesthetists and attending to patients with special needs relating to post-operative pain.
About the You
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and meet the following criteria:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Nurse
- 3 years minimum experience in Acute Pain Service and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit nursing
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- Knowledge of Quality /Continuous Improvement processes
On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from;
- $47.66 - $50.99 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4) [FTE $94 186.04 - $100 760.19]
