Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Anaesthetics
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the leadership team of The Avenue Private Hospital in Anaesthetics. This is a full time permanent opportunity.
About the Role
The Avenue is an advanced 152 bed private surgical and medical hospital located in the inner city suburb of Windsor. Our highly skilled team of nursing and medical staff take pride in delivering a distinctive private hospital experience and a quality of care that is recognised by the community and the industry nationwide.
In this role you will be joining our anaesthetic team supporting procedures across 11 operating theatres.
We are regarded as one of Australia’s premier orthopaedic hospitals specialising in joint replacement surgery, spinal surgery and reconstructive surgical management of sporting injuries. Other specialities include obesity surgery, general surgery, dermatology, general medicine, colorectal surgery, plastics, urology, ear nose and throat, pain management, oral/maxillofacial, ophthalmology, gynaecology and infertility, endoscopy and gastroenterology.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team. This role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed and this is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse to step up into a management role and build your clinical leadership skillset.
This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager and works a 7-day rotating roster.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor to junior staff.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Extensive proven experience as a Nurse in an acute care setting with 3 years minimum experience in a surgical ward.
- Clinical leadership and anaesthetics experience will be highly regarded.
- A Critical Care certificate will be highly regarded.
On offer is an hourly rate of $ 49.42 - $ 51.05 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $97 656.09 - $ 100 879.93]
