In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspecting, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment in compliance with national standards.
This will include working in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products and trays where applicable. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a high level of customer service with a strong capacity to organise your time effectively. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also bring;
- 1 year experience in a Clinical Sterilisation team is desirable
- Certificate III (or working towards) in Sterilisation Services is desirable
- The flexibility to handle a 24/7 7day rotating roster with weekend on call where required
