We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery at St George Private Hospital

Permanent full-time position!  

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in our Special Care Nursery to provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care.  Our maternity unit comprises of 6 birthing suites, with remote baby monitoring technology, a respite nursery, a level 2 - 10 cot Special Care Nursery and 23 post-natal beds.

As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties supported by a dedicated maternity educator ensuring direct access to education and professional development to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward.  You will be responsible for will assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs.

This role will see you reporting to the Obstetric Manager and you will be joining a team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe, holistic nursing care to each individual patient to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage you time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

Experience within Special Care Nursery is essential. The flexibility to work a rotating roster along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.

You will also demonstrate;

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of two years Special Care Nursery experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a health-care team, and positively influence the performance of other staff.
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Strong customer service skills

 

Remuneration

$33.23 - $46.67 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 65 665.60 - $92 230.31]

Requirements
