About the Role

This is a Senior Management position in the Clinical Services team.  Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, this role will be required to provide operational management support to all areas of Quality and Clinical Safety and some support services.

This position is the management representative for the Hospital Quality Management System and will be required to guide the organisation through the Accreditation process and support and foster a culture that embraces quality and strives to continually improve patient and business outcomes in line with the accreditation program and other regulatory frameworks.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an organised, qualified health professional with extensive experience in the acute private hospital setting. You will have an excellent understanding of accreditation, continuous improvement, national standards, clinical risk and clinical governance principles.  As this position will be required to communicate with and educate people at all levels of the business, manage and lead a team, and undertake significant reporting and policy / process development; you will be required to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication as well as high level interpersonal skills.    

In addition to excellent time management, you will need to be flexible, adapt to change quickly, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will also bring;

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Proven strategic planning, workforce management and policy development skills
  • Excellent understanding of clinical governance principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and applications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Management
  • Previous experience in Accreditation preparation
