Registered and Enrolled Nurses (Day Surgery)
We are seeking trained Registered Nurses with Day Surgery experience to join our Day Surgery Unit at Wangaratta Private Hospital.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our team you will be providing care to patients during the admissions and discharge period of their day procedures.
You will be joining a team of highly skilled Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, working together to uphold Ramsay’s high standard of patient care.
This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with proven Day Surgery experience. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
You will also demonstrate;
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
- Enrolled Nurses must be certified to administer medication and perform IV’s.
- 2 years recent experience in a hospital environment with experience in a Day Surgery or Admissions/Discharge team.
- Post-graduate nursing qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
The flexibility to handle a rotating roster will also be key for this role.
Registered Nurses - $ 31.63 - $ 44.15 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr10) [FTE $62 516.09 - $87 256.01]
Enrolled Nurses - $ 29.03 - $ 33.99 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC EEN gr1-gr8) [FTE $57 381.06 - $67 166.41]
