About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrub / Scout nurse to join the team at theatre. In this role, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
This role is casual with the view for Permanent Part time or Permanent Full Time for the right applicant.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience as a scrub scout nurse. You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- 3 years’ experience as a Scrub / Scout Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from;
$33.23 - $46.67 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 65 665.60 - $92 230.31]

Southern Highlands Private Hospital provides 74 acute medical and surgical beds, as well as an extensive range of onsite rehabilitation and palliative care services for the community and beyond to the regional and rural areas. The Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres, a Procedure Room and a Day Surgery Unit. The hospital is located in Bowral, adjacent to the public hospital.
