The Opportunity

Working across our fast-paced and high turnover, 30-bedded Gordon Ward at Hollywood Private Hospital, you will contribute to providing focused care to our patients in the areas of Urology and Gynaecology.

Hollywood Private Hospital, home to the de Vinci Xi, the worlds most advanced surgical system which allows our surgeons to provide minimally invasive robotic surgery, is a leader in urological care for men and women where patients are offered the widest range of urology services and treatments in Western Australia. We also offer patients comprehensive gynaecological care including prevention and screening, the treatment of common symptoms and the management of pre-invasive diseases. Gynaecological cancer, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and uterine fibroids are just a few of the conditions we treat within our department.

Working with our multidisciplinary clinical team, you will be responsible for maintaining our high level of quality patient care which will involve, but is not limited to;

  • Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating care delivery needs of patients;
  • Checking, preparing and administering all medications in accordance with state legislation and organisational policies and procedures; and
  • Treating all customers with respect and equality whilst meeting all aspects of their care in a timely and professional manner.

The flexibility to work across a seven-day, Monday to Sunday roster is critical for this role.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with clinical and professional experience working in Urology and Gynaecology. Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team-focused environment, and your client-first attitude are also essential for this role.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will also have the following:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • 12 months experience working in Urology and / or Gynaecology
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of specialty

Candidates with any post graduate qualifications in these areas of speciality will be highly regarded.


Based on experience level, on offer is a base annual salary ranging from $70,051.00 to $92,182.36 per annum + superannuation.

Please note that the range above is full time equivalent, is exclusive of any applicable loadings or penalties and will vary depending on the hours you are contracted to.
