Permanent Full time Grade 2 Physiotherapist (Rotating)

Permanent Full time position available for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team at Peninsula Private Hospital and Beleura Private Hospital

About the Role

This is a rotating Grade 2 position incorporating annual rotations of acute orthopaedic/surgical, acute medical, Inpatient and Day Rehabilitation across our Peninsula and Beleura Private hospital sites. Commencing at Peninsula Private on the acute surgical wards you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload including orthopaedic/joint surgery, spinal surgery and general medical patients. Additional duties will include supervision/mentoring of junior staff/students and contributing to staff professional development and quality assurance activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a cohesive, progressive and integrated team who are committed to excellence in clinical practice and professional development.

Applications from current Grade 2 physiotherapists or suitably experienced Grade 1 physiotherapists will be considered. Relevant postgraduate qualifications would also be highly regarded.

This position is based in Peninsula Private Hospital but subacute rotation will be in Beleura Private Hospital.  Travel to any of the Ramsay Health sites may be required.

About You

As a new or experienced Grade 2 physiotherapist, you will have recent clinical experience in, and knowledge of general physiotherapy management across an acute and subacute health care setting.

You will have advanced clinical reasoning skills and experience in clinical education.  With your caring and engaging manner you will work across a variety of wards with some weekend work expected.  You will have access to resources to support you in this position, enabling you to further advance your leadership and clinical skills whilst delivering a high standard of patient care.

  • Current AHPRA registration and proven clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years post-graduate experience in a hospital.
  • Relevant working visa
  • Ability to work weekends / Public Holidays on a roster basis
