Administration Clerk

About the Role

We are seeking cheerful and confident Administration Clerks to join our Administration Team on a casual basis, providing a comprehensive customer focused service at John Flynn Private Hospital.

You will be responsible for effectively performing the administrative duties within a variety of different departments, providing leave coverage as required.  You will provide a high level of customer service directly to our patients.

In this role you will report to the Administrative Services Manager and work closely with a supportive team. 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong administrative skill set and be familiar with the health care industry. You will be a proactive professional with a high level of attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the work day. You will be a clear and effective communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work well in a team environment.

 You will also bring

  • A positive and welcoming customer service skill set.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Health Funds would be advantageous
  • Experience with patient management systems (meditech) will be highly regarded.
  • Strong computer skills with a good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
  • Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded.


On offer is an hour rate of $25 - $28 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications
