The Opportunity

Our 30 bed ward looks after Vascular and Neuro-Surgical patients both pre and post operatively. We also care for patients with chronic pain who are admitted for acute interventions. We are a fast-paced ward that receives patients post procedure 6 days a week, in addition to acute admissions.

As a Registered Nurse, you will responsible for supporting our team and ensuring a high level of care is delivered and maintained at all times. This will involve, but is not limited to;

  • Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating care delivery needs of patients
  • Checking, preparing and administering all medications in accordance with state legislation and organisational policies and procedures
  • Treating all customers with respect and equality whilst meeting all aspects of their care in a timely and professional manner

This role will require the flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with clinical and professional surgical experience. Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team-focused environment, and your client-first attitude are also essential for this role.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will also have the following;

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse with surgical experience
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of specialty


Remuneration:

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from;

  • $70,051.89 - $92,182.36 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)
