We are seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our team in the mental health unit at Joondalup Health Campus. These positions are Casual and you must be available to work over a varied, seven day rotating roster.
About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse at Joondalup Health Campus you are responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care to a diverse range of patients. You will also be responsible for checking, preparing and administering medications in accordance with registration requirements and relevant organisational policies and procedures. Performing duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will work harmoniously and collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate, person centred care within the unit ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be supported in this position by the skilled and welcoming teams and managers and will be provided with clinical supervision and continued training and educational opportunities to support your professional development. The successful candidate will have a background in mental health nursing and will be passionate about providing care for people with mental illness in an acute inpatient setting.
To succeed in this role you will be self-motivated and work effectively under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. You will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and a commitment to professional practice.
