We are looking for a Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our supportive and dynamic team on either a full time or part time basis.

You will be driven to make a difference in medical research and the lives of patients now and into the future, as the Clinical Trials Coordinator at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

 

About the Opportunity

The Clinical Trials Coordinator works closely with Principal Investigators and all associated research and site staff to co-ordinate and support the clinical trial research activities conducted at the Hospital. The Clinical Trials Coordinator will ensure that a high quality, professional and efficient research service is consistently provided in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and appropriate clinical trial regulations. This position reports to the Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working with busy clinicians and the ability to effectively manage workload within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Degree qualified in Health Science
  • Experience within research studies In the clinical trials space
  • Proven ability to establish relationships and work in partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to take initiative, problem solve and assist in ensuring the success of each project
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and set goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia would be an advantage, but not essential

 Desirable

  • Previous clinical trials experience in a hospital setting
