About the Role
We have a new opportunity for Associate Nurse Unit Managers to join our surgical ward.
This is a great opportunity for Registered Nurses with experience in a management role, or leadership aspirations.
Our ward offers a diverse clinical caseload, with a primary focus on Ear Nose and Throat surgery, Plastics, and Gender Affirmation Surgery. We also care for medical and pain management patients.
This is position will involve rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays, to provide clinical care and support the Nurse Unit Manager in their absence.
Your skills and experience
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Recent medical & surgical nursing experience essential
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $53.22 - $54.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $105,164.80 - $108,636.84]
