Glengarry Private Hospital in Duncraig, WA has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to join our small and highly efficient team.

We are looking for a nurse with a broad skillset to lead our amazing team as Floor Coordinate.


About the Role

You will be involved with day-to-day coordination of 4 theatres, recovery and CSSD. You will assist with the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, whilst working and collaborating within our multidisciplinary team.

This opportunity enables you to act as a clinical expert, professional role model and change agent to promote practice development and quality initiatives that promote the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality patient focused service.


About You

This is a rewarding role that requires an extraordinary clinical professional with highly developed communication, problem solving, and clinical skills.


Selection Criteria

  • Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Minimum 5 years’ nursing experience in a perioperative department
  • Minimum 2 years’ theatre specialty role essential, preferable with Floor Coordination experience.
  • Ability to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Ability to assess, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients and/or department
  • Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes
  • Ability to work independently & to engage and influence a team.



On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $101,393.65 - $107,728.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
