The Role

This role will focus on the strategic change management to ensure the success of a national change to purchasing processes. The implementation of a “Procure-to-Pay” solution will increase the efficiency and coordination of purchasing for 73 metro and regional hospital sites and head office shared services.

This high-profile role will lead the change-related activity for this project, which is a major change for the affected stakeholders. Your focus will be supporting our employees in adopting changed business processes, technology and ways of working.

As a senior Change Manager, you may also support or advise other projects in our transformation portfolio.


Key Role Accountabilities

  • Works closely with the Project Managers to deliver project change requirements and to agreed measures.
  • Applies a structured methodology and leads change management activities end-to-end.
  • Leverages a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Assesses the change impact through conducting stakeholder analysis, impact analyses and change readiness.
  • Supports communication efforts across the portfolio and enables the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
  • Supports training efforts by providing input, documents requirements, assesses training gaps and supports the design and delivery of training and learning programs.
  • Management and engagement of a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Prepares adequate reporting and documentation to track progress and risks.


About You

To excel in this role, you will have experience leading end-to-end digital and business change initiatives in a large and complex organisation. You will also have a deep understanding of contemporary change frameworks and tools, as well as their practical adaptation to different organisational contexts.


Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant change management certification/qualification.
  • Experience working with a variety of project delivery methods (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid)
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (i.e. ADKAR, Kotter, Lean Change).
  • 3-5 years of experience in change management or organisational development, with a proven track record of successfully driving major organisational changes.
  • Experience working in healthcare, or in health systems industries (desirable)
  • Experience working on Finance, or ideally procurement projects or roles (desirable)
