About the role
Joining our team, you will be responsible for:
- Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres.
- Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintain communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.
About you
Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, characterized by punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and a dedication to professional practice.
You will also demonstrate:
- Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable
- Carpet cleaning experience highly desirable
- Availability to work day / afternoon / evening shifts required
- Excellent time management skills.

Ideally you will also bring;
- Previous experience in a hospital or hospital environment
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to problem solve and maintain good working relations with others.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $26.40 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
