We are seeking Critical Care Registered Nurses to join our team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital!

About the Role

The ICU offers care for a diverse range of medical and surgical conditions. This 11-bed unit delivers specialized care to patients who have undergone cardiac, general, and neurosurgery.

As a Registered Nurse, you will carry out your duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and Shift Leaders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. 

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Critical Care environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
  • Advanced communication and customer service skills
  • Prior experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (desirable)
  • ILS/ALS/ CALS certification (desirable)
  • Post graduate certificate or similar in critical care (desirable)

 

Remuneration

$41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is collocated with the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, on the Kawana Health Campus. Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
