About the Role
Noosa Hospital is seeking Housekeeping Assistants to join our Environmental Services Team on a casual basis. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of Noosa Hospital as directed.
This role will involve:
- Cleanliness of wards and public areas
- Work in a friendly and supportive manner
- Maintain good communication
- Availability for all shifts – 6-7 hour shifts ranging between 05:00-23:00
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice. In addition, you will hold the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role preferred but not essential
- Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting will be highly regarded
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required
- Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers and staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 + casual loading + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Support Services Level 1.1)

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
