The role

This is a great opportunity for a registered nurse to join our fun and collaborative Oncology team. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who is passionate about teaching and working across our oncology specialities.

 

You will:

  • Work closely with the managers and staff to deliver high quality education to our team
  • Provide support to new staff and graduates
  • Work with staff requiring clinical support
  • Conduct staff competencies
  • Deliver face-to-face education sessions.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Oncology
  • Post graduate course in oncology
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
  • Experience in competency assessing nursing staff
  • Proven experience as a preceptor and completion of a preceptor course (or willing to undertake)
  • Demonstrates own commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator desirable.
