About the Role

Noosa Private Hospital has a fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic leader to step into a key position within our administration team.

As the Administration Team Leader, you will manage, lead, guide and support the administrative personnel who work across the hospital. You will oversee and participate in all admin operational aspects of the front office, reception, theatre, wards and day unit areas and provide vital support to the Administration Manager.

This role will involve some job share in supporting the front office team (for 2 days of the week), with the current front office team leader.

This is a key leadership position which will see the successful candidate:

  • Provide training, support, assistance and leadership to administrative staff
  • Willingness and ability to jump into admin roles where required
  • Act as a resource person/SME in relation to system
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff
  • Assist with preparation of rosters, manage sick calls and help ensure effective use of staff resources to meet KPI’s
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and confidentiality is maintained in the unit
  • Respond to billing hub requests and ensure timely completion of all certification and financial forms to meet revenue cycle KPI’s.
  • Ensure that all administrative functions support clinical and hospital requirements
  • Encourage a supportive and positive team environment
  • Other duties as directed by the Administration Manager

 

About You

You are a proactive and people focused leader with strong communication and customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and ensuring seamless operations. Your ability to motivate and support your team will see you succeed in this dynamic leadership role.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Ability to manage a team, preferably within a health care environment
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups/Rosters for a large team
  • Knowledge and ability of working to key performance indicators and budget constraints
  • Control and monitoring of Administration related KPIs
  • Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changes
  • Ability to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contracts
  • Ability to achieve quality outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Understanding of Medical terminology
  • Experience using Meditech or similar patient administration software highly desirable

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
