The Opportunity
We are seeking an Administration Clerk to support our Front Office of Port Macquarie Private Hospital! We are looking for someone who can work on a 7 day per week rotating roster between the hours of 6am - 8pm. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will also be able to multi-task and to work in a high-pressure environment. You will be willing to work across all areas of administration throughout the Hospital.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls.
- Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
- Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.
Skills and Experience
You will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills, superior problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated one year experience in a medical administrative role
- Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with patient chart filing and chart auditing
- Any experience with Patient Management Systems (specifically Meditech and Medtech 32) will be highly regarded.
- Previous hospital experience would be advantageous
This role calls for individuals with a strong capacity to manage a variety of administrative tasks and priorities over the course of the work day.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
