About the Role
Joondalup Health Campus is seeking experienced and dedicated Clinical Midwives to join our Private Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit.
We are looking for exceptional individuals who demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to continuous improvement and the ability to deliver quality patient outcomes and who are seeking to enhance their leadership skills and knowledge whilst clearly demonstrating the Ramsay Way.
The Position:
As Clinical Midwife you are required to act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of Midwifery and Neonate care whilst demonstrating a high level of critical thinking and problem solving skills within the clinical setting.
Our Clinical Midwives contribute to, and participate in, the education of all levels of staff by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing and clinical competence programs, as well as undertaking mental, social and physical assessments, treatment and delivery of continuing care / case management for Maternity patients and Neonates. You will also be required to make a valuable contribution to the Hospital Continuous Improvement process.

- You will showcase your adept communication skills and your capacity to establish and nurture effective interpersonal connections.
- Your role will involve engaging in constructive and collaborative communication with family members, a diverse group of healthcare professionals and community agencies.
Essential Skills and experience
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Extensive midwifery experience that demonstrates expert clinical and problem solving skills
- A minimum of 5 years post registration experience, including 3 years’ experience in maternity and obstetrics
- Relevant post graduate qualification will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates ability to deliver quality patient care
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team.
Remuneration: On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
