About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced clinician to lead our Ramsay Health Plus Clinic in Cairns. In this pivotal role, you will provide professional leadership, mentorship, and support to the team, offering specialist advice and managing day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, implementing and evaluating clinic practices and processes, facilitating integrated care, ensuring continuous quality improvement, overseeing commercial activities and governance, and contributing to the growth and development of the service through effective marketing and management of your own patient caseload.
About You
This position requires an experienced Allied Health Professional with strong clinical and leadership skills. To be successful you must have the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team, have excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, a growth mindset, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (or relevant professional body, e.g ESSA)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with private practice experience highly regarded.
- Strong interest in outpatient and community services
- Previous NDIS experience highly regarded (but not essential)
- Post graduate qualifications highly regarded.
Remuneration
Competitive remuneration $62.33-$65.41 per hour, or flexible remuneration packages for right candidate.

About the Clinic
Ramsay Health Plus Cairns is co-located with Ramsay Psychology, bringing together a comprehensive multidisciplinary team under one roof. This clinic has a crucial role in supporting the key service lines of Cairns Private Hospital across the entire care continuum, providing pre and post-operative/admission care for orthopaedics, rehabilitation, neurological, oncology, reconditioning, and musculoskeletal patients. In addition to supporting the hospital, the clinic has a strong community presence, providing care to diverse patient groups across the NDIS, Aged Care, Third-Party and primary care networks.
Ramsay Health Plus Cairns is part of the broader Ramsay Health Plus network, with 37 clinics across QLD, NSW, VIC and WA. As part of the network, you will link in with other Practice Principals, and have extensive support from our Head Office functions including operations, finance, marketing, and more. Essential Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
- Must be willing to undertake NDIS Workers Screening Check
