About the Role
Join our Sterilisation Technicians in our busy Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), as part of the Perioperative Department. The Perioperative environment is inclusive and interesting, encompassing a variety of specialty surgeries. The Sterilisation Technician is required to work within the CSSD, reprocessing Reusable Medical Devices (RMDs) utilising the various methods and practices available to provide sterile RMDs ready for patient use within the Operating Theatre.
You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow through the various areas of the CSSD, whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
About You
You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- A Certificate III in Sterilisation Services, or to be obtained within the first 12 months.
- Experience preferably, but not required as on the job training is provided.
- A willingness to work shift hours and on call after training.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
Remuneration
$27.74 - $36.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
