About the role
This role involves working across 2 varied caseloads. You will provide OT services within both the NDIS Team and the Day Program/Admitted Services Team.
Ramsay Health Plus, located at Mt Wilga Private Hospital is an NDIS registered provider. We deliver therapeutic supports to NDIS participants including OT services in a community setting. This role involves assessment and therapeutic interventions within the NDIS framework including AT trials and documentation, minor home modifications, SIL assessments and SDA assessments and reports. There is also opportunity for ADL retraining, manual handling assessments and other novel therapeutic interventions.
The Mt Wilga Day Program/Admitted Services offers a multi-disciplinary approach including OT services in a clinic-based setting. This role involves assessment, individual and group based therapeutic interventions, education sessions and documentation/reporting.
Both services offer the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Dietetics and Social Work.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following:
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Completion of online ‘NDIS Worker Orientation Module’ (or willingness to complete)
- Current ‘NDIS Worker Screening Check’ (or willingness to obtain)
- A flexible and positive approach to work
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High Standard of customer service
- Organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to learning, professional development and EBP
NDIS experience is desirable, but not necessary – on-site NDIS training and support will be provided.
