The Opportunity
We require an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our experienced and supportive Allied Health team. The clinical role will comprise working in the rehabilitation setting focusing on orthopaedics, spinal surgery, cardiac surgery, medical/reconditioning, neurology, or oncology. This position will also provide opportunities to work within the acute wards across both Beleura and Peninsula Private Hospital, and within the day rehab (outpatient) programs.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to manage a diverse caseload and work autonomously, as well as actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to address functional, equipment and service needs of the client population in the hospital/rehabilitation setting.
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
We provide opportunities to co-supervise students with guidance from a senior Occupational Therapist. You will also be able to attend Monthly CPD schedule including in-services, guest speakers, in-house presentations, and ongoing learning opportunities. There are also numerous hospitals working party opportunities on offer to join to participate in service improvement and self-leadership development.

You will bring a strong clinical skillset along with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. We are ideally looking for experienced professionals who thrive in working within a multidisciplinary team.
To be successful in this role you will process:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent qualification.
- Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Membership with OT Australia (desirable).
- Current unrestricted Victorian Driver’s License.
- Valid Working with Children’s Check.
- Strong skills in planning, setting client centred goals, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation programs.
- A commitment to collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Contribution to the planning, development, and evaluation of evidence-based Occupational Therapy services within the hospital setting.
- Experience in rehabilitation and / or acute hospital settings (highly regarded).
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster.
