About the Role

We are looking for Registered Nurses with Critical Care experience to join Hollywood Hospital’s Private Emergency Department on a casual basis.

We have 13 treatment rooms and 1 Resuscitation Room, with access to Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units as well as Medical and Surgical specialties. This is opportunity to develop your Emergency Nursing clinical skills, and for the right candidate, growing towards leadership opportunities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained nurse with relevant experience in critical care areas including, Emergency Care, Cardiology or ICU. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with the Ramsay values. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Essential:

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 1 year experience within a Critical Care area 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital experience 
• Ability to use initiative, work as a team member in fast paced environment 
• Be able to respond appropriately to rapid change including sudden alterations in a patient’s clinical condition.
