An exciting permanent part time opportunity is available for an Oncology Pharmacy Technician at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane. As the Technician, you will be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.

What you’ll do

• Assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medications according to PBS legislative requirements.
• Strive to provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers.
• Aseptic compounding of medications in line with national standards.

As the Dispensary Technician, you will be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes or experience:

• Minimum Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy.
• Excellent understanding of PBS and private prescription pricing and processing.
• Sound understanding of S2, S3 and S4 medications and associated regulations.
• Highly organized and with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and able to work well as part of a team.

You must be focused on customer service and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and excellent communication skills.
