We are currently seeking casual Patient Administration Assistants to join our welcoming and high-performing administrative team.
About the Role
As a Patient Administration Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional, and efficient. Your duties will include:
- Welcoming patients and assisting with admissions and discharges.
- Answering general enquiries and managing reception duties.
- Pre-admitting patients and conducting health fund eligibility checks.
- Processing payments and handling administrative documentation.
You will need to be flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends.

- Previous experience in administration, preferably in healthcare or customer service.
- Confidence in managing multiple tasks and priorities.

- Commitment to delivering excellent service to patients, visitors, and clinicians.
- Experience in medical reception and/or ward clerk roles.
- Familiarity with Patient Management or Practice Management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Renumeration: Salary based on experience.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
