Bring your skills to where they matter most! North West Private Hospital is seeking passionate Anaesthetic Nurses, PACU Nurses, and Anaesthetic Technicians to join our supportive, patient-focused team.
About the Roles
Anaesthetic Nurses & Technicians will:
- Assist Anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Act quickly and calmly in response to unexpected situations and emergencies.
- Ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, and legislative requirements.
PACU Nurses will:
- Provide excellent care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.
- Respond effectively and calmly to emergencies and changing patient needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care standards are consistently upheld.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in these roles, you will bring:
- Minimum of 1 year acute hospital experience.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, or a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or equivalent) for Anaesthetic Technicians.
- Strong clinical skillset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early/late shifts with on-call components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Any post-graduate perioperative qualifications (highly regarded).
Remuneration
A base hourly rate, dependent on experience and qualifications (exclusive of penalties and allowances):
- Enrolled Nurses: $35.78 – $39.96 + superannuation (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1–gr6).
- Registered Nurses: $41.89 – $54.01 + superannuation (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2–gr8).
- Anaesthetic Technicians: $35.53 – $37.74 + superannuation (QLD Support Services Level 4–5).
