The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac ward at North Shore Private Hospital. Our 31-bed Cardiothoracic/Cardiology unit provides specialised care for patients who require cardiology care including interventional procedures, cardiothoracic surgery and Coronary or Acute Care. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the cardiology/cardiothoracic specialties (desirable)
- CCU experience (desirable)
- ILS/ALS/ CALS certification (desirable)
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications highly regarded
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly base salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
