Ramsay Health Care is seeking a full-time Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team. The successful applicant will work closely with Principal Investigators, Sponsors, patients, and site staff to coordinate and support clinical trial research activities at the Hospital.
This role is integral to ensuring a high-quality, professional, and efficient research service is consistently delivered in line with Good Clinical Practice and relevant clinical trial regulations.
As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will also have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth and development of a leading clinical trials unit at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Key responsibilities include:

- Delivery of high-quality patient care that is required in accordance with the clinical trial protocol.
- Ensure the safe and ethical conduct of clinical research and trials in accordance with relevant protocols, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient visits in relation to clinical trials and ensure that all relevant data is collected in accordance with each clinical trials protocol.
- Liaise between key-stakeholders including sponsors, doctors and hospital staff.
- Maintain written and verbal communication with all stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.
About Ramsay Research & the National Clinical Trials Network
Through seed funding provided by the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation, Ramsay Health Care has established a national clinical trials network. Consisting of 22 sites spread across four states of Australia, the network employs over 60 team members who focus on the establishment and development of clinical trials at our sites. Our clinical trial activities focus on Oncology & Haematology, Mental Health, Musculoskeletal Disease and Cardiology as well as other therapeutic areas such as respiratory and neurology.
Through this dedicated network Ramsay Health Care is able to provide access to emerging treatments and new devices that offer a participant the potential of changing the outcomes of any diagnosis and disease.
The role will report to the Clinical Trials Unit and Research Manager and will work closely with a number of key stakeholders including the clinical trials team; the Hospital finance teams and the National Clinical Trials Network.
