- $32 per hour with an 80 hour fortnightly guarantee
- Mon - Fri roster with occasional weekends when required
We have an opening for a dedicated forklift operator to become a permanent member of our Pulp Store crew in Napier. Our facility utilizes a fleet of Linde forklifts, equipped with clamps, to manage the baled pulp that arrives at the port for export purposes.
What will you be doing?
- The safe and efficient handling of export pulp arriving by rail and road
- The stowage of export pulp in store
- The load out of export pulp to order
Key qualities we look for:
- Safety focused
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Maturity and strong work ethic
- Proven work experience operating forklifts
- Flexibility to work AM or PM shift and weekends
Requirements for the role:
- Forklift experience is a must and clamp experience is preferred.
- You will need a current Full NZ Drivers License, and have F Endorsement plus OSH Certificate.
- You will need to be drug-free and be prepared to do a pre-employment drug screen, and undergo regular random drug testing
- You will need to agree to a Criminal Check and ACC Check
- You will need to be eligible to work in NZ.
