What's the role?

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Shift Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Port Hedland. The main focus of this role is the maintenance of electrical work pertaining to statutory obligations, delegation of tasks to direct reports or subcontractors and general oversight & supervision of operational requirements at Qube’s Utah Point Port Facility.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Must have an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic trade certificate – ‘A’ Grade WA Endorsed
  • Essential to have have High Voltage Ticket
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor role or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Fixed Plant or Mobile Plant mining environment
  • Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
  • An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
