THE ROLE

We are looking for individuals seeking shift work at East Arm, NT.  Specific duties for this role will include loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes, shipboard and wharf duties and basic clerical tasks. These Operations specialise in loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes. 

The successful applicant will need to be prepared to work an irregular shift pattern in a 24/7 roster.

Shifts between PM Friday to PM Sunday attract the highest demand for this position.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Skills of Forklift, Dogging, Crane and Earth Moving Machinery experience is highly desirable.
  2. Manual driver’s licence required
  3. Crane Operator licence
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
  5. Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience
  6. Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  7. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
