        We are seeking an experienced & reliable Heavy Plant Mechanic (Fitter) to join the Maintenance Team across Qube’s Midwest Port operations. The primary responsibilities of a Mobile Heavy Plant Mechanic is to undertake the inspection, fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of all Heavy Mobile Plant Equipment & Port Operation Fleets both safely & efficiently. A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently. These are full-time positions, for local Geraldton-based applicants only.

This role involves the operation of heavy machinery on-site at Carrapateena, to assist in the transportation copper concentrate from Carrapateena to various locations in the Spencer Gulf region.

These are full-time, fly-in/fly-out positions and drivers will be responsible for the operation of Quad & Super Quad road train side-tippers to transport Iron Ore throughout the northwest.
