The Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator performs a variety of responsibilities supporting the APT, Faculty and Classified recruitment and onboarding processes.
This position will have the potential for one remote day after completion of the required training.
Minimum Qualifications
Completed Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Two years of professional level experience in human resources related functions (i.e. recruitment and selection processes, interviewing, etc.).
Professional level experience is defined by the Colorado Division of Human Resources: A position that involves the exercise of discretion, analytical skill, judgment, personal accountability, and responsibility for creating, developing, integrating, applying, or sharing an organized body of knowledge. Colorado revised statute (C.R.S. 24-50-135(1) allows colleges to exempt positions from the State Personnel Classified System that are determined to be professional level work.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of professional level experience in human resources related functions (i.e. recruitment and selection processes, interviewing, etc.).
Experience working in higher education.
Experience with job classification analysis.

Essential Functions
Recruitment Assistance
Assist the recruitment team with recruitment and selection process.
Communicate with candidates.
Utilize applicant tracking system to create and post positions.
Evaluate candidate applications.
Provide recruitment guidance to committee members and supervisors.
Utilize various data platforms to maintain and update information.
Assist with the coordination of orientation and onboarding of new employees.
Administrative duties associated with recruitment recordkeeping.
Maintain position descriptions and job descriptions.
Assist with the exemption process.
Personnel Support
Track employee probationary and provisional status.
Track employee appointments.
Electronic filing of employment information.
Manage exit process for assigned employee type.
Maintain active directory data in coordination with ITSS.
Ensures accurate completion of new hire paperwork for new employees.

Provide direction and guidance to ensure compensation aligns with internal equity and the Equal Pay Act.
Foster customer service driven relationships with vendors, faculty, staff, and students.
Recommend and implement innovative approaches in automation to enhance capabilities and improve services.
Ability to handle a high volume of recruitment.
Ability to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to effectively work both independently and as a team member.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.
