Assistant or Associate Clinical Faculty of School Psychology Educational Psychology 499459 Storrs Campus
The Department of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut invites applications and nominations for a non-tenure track assistant or associate nine-month Clinical Faculty of School Psychology beginning August 2026. This clinical faculty position is a 3-year contract with the possibility for renewal after 3 years. The successful candidate will work with the School Psychology faculty to lead the NASP-approved master’s/6th year program and support the APA-accredited doctoral program, which are located at UConn’s main Storrs campus. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include: teaching courses, directing internship and supporting clinical placements, advising master’s students, leading NASP accreditation processes, co-leading APA accreditation processes, admissions, pursuing extramural funding to support student training, and engagement with related Connecticut state organizations. The typical teaching load for a non-tenure track faculty position is 3:3.

Director of Technology Incubation and Venture Development Tech Comm and Industry Rltns (Vice President for Research) 499442 Storrs Campus
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Director of Technology Incubation & Venture Development will have two primary responsibilities: a) responsible for running the Technology Incubation Program – which is the Incubator program at UConn supporting UConn and non -UConn startups both at Storrs and Farmington, and b) responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for UConn faculty and students. The selected candidate will work directly with faculty and students on all UConn campuses, including UConn Health, to form new ventures and support existing startups based on UConn technologies in the physical sciences, life sciences and engineering, across a broad variety of business sectors such as biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, aerospace, cleantech and software, among others. The Director will also be responsible for attracting non-UConn startups in the TIP including offering them advise, guidance, and connections to investors. They will be responsible for working with VCs and investors and maintain a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading successful technology and startups and will seek opportunities to identify and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Director of Venture Development will bring an ability to balance financial and business acumen with an aggressive, creative, and dynamic approach to startup creation, including having deep understanding of financial models (cap table, equity distribution and financial impacts during investments). The candidate should have knowledge and experience with federal funding programs like SBIR/STTR that support startups.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, the Director of Venture Development will be committed to advancing technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation as part of its role in promoting economic growth and development for the state of Connecticut, the region, and the nation. Technology Commercialization Services (TCS) aims to support faculty with venture development and startup formation at UConn The Director of Venture Development will have the following responsibilities: a) identifying, developing, and expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for UConn faculty, students, and companies in UConn’s Technology Incubation Program, b) work directly with entrepreneurs on all UConn campuses, including UConn Health, to form new ventures and support existing startups in all disciplines, c) have a portfolio of inventions that they will be responsible for marketing and licensing, d) recruit new startups to join TIP, and e) help raise risk capital for UConn startups.
