| Virginia Tech’s Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation is seeking a Project–Research Manager to lead a groundbreaking, multi-disciplinary initiative focused on forest ecosystems, fuels, and fire behavior across Virginia and the eastern United States.
This position is supported by a newly funded Department of War project:
“Evaluation and Validation of Vegetation, Fuel, and Fire Behavior Tools and Technology in Hardwood-Dominated Forest Ecosystems.”
You will work alongside an accomplished research team led by Dr. Adam Coates, with co-principal investigators Drs. Carrie Fearer, Verl Emrick, and Mark Ford, contributing to research that directly informs land management, wildfire mitigation, and ecological resilience. |
