Job Summary:

The Miami Student leadership student staff members are responsible for helping to run this student organization. Students work with the content adviser to oversee a staff of writers, editors and designers. Students also create a structure for content creation and management, including revising and editing work.

Students also work with the business adviser to create and adhere to a budget, where students will make decisions on costs that can include printing, website maintenance and marketing/PR.

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

Tasks include editing, writing and designing the news for The Miami Student.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Students must have the ability to write and edit news.
