Upper South Creek Network Project – Supporting Western Sydney’s Growth!
Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the role:
- Adapt to working across diverse locations, including project sites, the Parramatta office, and remote work, based on stakeholder and community needs.
- Collaborate with Sydney Water’s Delivery Contractors to create and implement effective community and stakeholder engagement strategies for those affected by the program, including stakeholders, communities, and customers.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams, engaging with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Support a positive team environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Embody Sydney Water and CreekConnect's shared values, prioritising the customer as we execute the Upper South Creek Networks Program.
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in community and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of the principles of IAP2 (International Association of Public Participation) is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in; communications, public relations, sustainability, environmental science, urban planning, engineering, social sciences or other relevant disciplines.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in the infrastructure and/or water sector is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, high emotional intelligence and empathy.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous growth and learning.
- A full driver’s licence is required for travel to Western Sydney sites.
