Gifts and Biographical Records Specialist	Lewiston, ME
The Gifts and Biographical Records Specialist is responsible for performing gift and biographical data entry and data maintenance along with associated processes for the Office of College Advancement. Gift processing consists of accepting, valuing, crediting and recording charitable gifts to Bates, including cash, credit cards, gifts-in-kind, securities and numerous planned giving vehicles, such as gift annuities and remainder trusts.
Campus Safety Officer	Lewiston, ME
This hands-on position provides direct support for an increasingly diverse Bates College community utilizing excellent customer service skills. Campus Safety Officers will engage and support students, guests and stakeholders from historically underrepresented groups including students of color, LGBTQAIP2+ students, international students, students with disabilities, first-generation college students, and the student organizations dedicated to supporting these students on campus. Additionally, Campus Safety Officers will develop strong partnerships with various campus offices and key stakeholders to ensure continued positive, long lasting relationships within the Bates Community. This position is considered “Essential Personnel” in the event that: an emergency occurs on the Bates Campus or in the vicinity that would impact Bates inclement weather forces the closing of campus other emergency events deemed appropriate. Essential Personnel are required to report to or remain at work if instructed to do so if contacted directly by the supervisor (or his/her designee), the President or a member of the President’s Staff (Sr. Leadership Team.) This position is for the evening shift
Maintenance Technician	Lewiston, ME
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a wide range of general maintenance, repair, and inspection activities. Performs routine and preventive maintenance activities on a variety of building systems including emergency lighting, emergency egress pathways and fire escapes, filter changes for HVAC equipment and water fountains. Perform seasonal inspection activities including dorm room inspections upon student move-out, exterior building condition assessments, winter egress pathways, etc. Document specific meter readings on a variety of equipment and vehicles, including generator run hours, vehicle mileages, etc.
Multifaith Chaplain	Lewiston, ME
The Multifaith Chaplain, reporting to the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion, assumes primary responsibility for the management and development of spiritual life of Bates College.
