Campus Safety Officer	Lewiston, ME
This hands-on position provides direct support for an increasingly diverse Bates College community utilizing excellent customer service skills. Campus Safety Officers will engage and support students, guests and stakeholders from historically underrepresented groups including students of color, LGBTQAIP2+ students, international students, students with disabilities, first-generation college students, and the student organizations dedicated to supporting these students on campus. Additionally, Campus Safety Officers will develop strong partnerships with various campus offices and key stakeholders to ensure continued positive, long lasting relationships within the Bates Community. This position is considered “Essential Personnel” in the event that: an emergency occurs on the Bates Campus or in the vicinity that would impact Bates inclement weather forces the closing of campus other emergency events deemed appropriate. Essential Personnel are required to report to or remain at work if instructed to do so if contacted directly by the supervisor (or his/her designee), the President or a member of the President’s Staff (Sr. Leadership Team.)
Commons Associate - Utility (FT, FY)	Lewiston, ME
The Utility Associate position primarily serves as front line support to student dining, but may be called upon to assist in any other area of the DCCE operation as needed. This position must follow food safety and sanitation procedures and work collaboratively with colleagues while building and developing positive relationships with all staff members
Commons Associate - Service (TQ, FY)	Lewiston, ME
The Commons Associate - Service position primarily serves as front line support for the Bates dining program which serves approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college. This position is responsible for following food safety and sanitation procedures and demonstrating positive relationships with individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills.
Commons Associate- Service (FT, FY)	Lewiston, ME
Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events provides/oversees services for a self-operated student dining program, campus catering, cash dining operations, vending, summer programs, one day programs, major campus events, campus space scheduling and non-student short term housing. The Commons Associate-Service primarily serves as front line support for the Bates dining program which serves approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college.
Retail Operations Associate	Lewiston, ME
Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events operates the Bobcat Den as an a la cart cash operation. The Retail Operations Associate is responsible for one-on-one customer service, safe and efficient food preparation and quality assurance, responsible alcohol service, accurate cash handling and appropriate waste management. This position calls for someone who demonstrates an ability to relate well to individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills. Exemplary organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and ability to cook and fill orders in a fast paced environment are all a must.
