THE ROLE
Duratec are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of remediation, construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate project activities, manage commercial requirements and drive safe, high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of remediation, construction and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
- Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting.
- Administer contracts, progress claims and variations in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project resources to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical support and engineering advice relating to design, construction and project modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, including planning, coordination and contractor management.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Strong planning, programming and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify project risks and opportunities.
- Sound understanding of quality, safety and environmental requirements, with a commitment to HSEQ compliance.
