The Role
Located at our Sydney Head Office and reporting into the Product Development & Procurement Manager, you will collaborate primarily with the product team, account managers and suppliers.
You will be responsible for developing Schoolwear products from concept to production whilst managing various smaller projects with the aim to improve and refine Schoolwear products.
What you’ll do
- Work in collaboration with the Schoolwear team to ensure new product is interpreted and manufactured to the highest quality and standards, to meet deadlines.
- Prepare garment samples, embroidery, print, fabric, and lab dip swatch submissions for school approvals.
- Track sampling with suppliers to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner.
- Maintain our systems data integrity for existing and newly developed styles, including, cost prices, supplier, and embroidery information.
- Drive and complete side projects focused to achieve cost savings targets and enhance business competitiveness.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product related queries and requests. Build and maintain supplier relationships.
- General Product Development tasks, as required.

Requirements
- Industry experience in all facets of the product design and development process
- Excellent project management abilities, including prioritisation, planning, and execution within tight deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse, organise, understand, and present solutions.
- A high level of professionalism
- Ability to work in a customer focused manner and seek solutions to benefit both the customer and the business.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Travel to suppliers, schools, as required.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Illustrator is preferred
