Reporting to the Manager of Electronic Access and Control Systems, the Electronic Access Control System Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Tarrant County College District (TCCD) security systems, including the Electronic Access Control System (EACS), Locking Systems (Yale and Schlage), File Maker Pro 9 Key Control System, KeyWatcher System and Panic Button System, to ensure the security of all facilities and occupants.

The Police Officer Recruit is a transitional role that is expected to attend and successfully complete Police Academy as well as pass the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) exam in preparation to qualify for commissioning as a peace officer for the Tarrant County College District (TCCD).
